Meet Our Attorneys
Los Angeles attorneys Jacob George and Abraham Mathew have known each other for more than 30 years and have been partners at the law offices Mathew & George for the past seven years. The attorneys represent small- to medium-size closely held businesses in a broad range of business litigation including contract disputes, shareholder and partnership disputes, to unfair competition and fraud, trade secret and trademark infringement, import and export disputes, real estate and commercial lease disputes, and bankruptcy claims.
Before he became a lawyer, Abraham Mathew obtained a degree in finance and economics from the University of Southern California and worked for Wells Fargo in their business lending division. After obtaining his law degree at Pepperdine University, Abraham worked for the Federal Reserve as an analyst in its business group.
Jacob George has obtained multimillion-dollar recoveries for his clients in complex legal actions. His intelligent and committed approach to the law has earned him recognition and respect among his peers in the legal community. Jacob received his bachelor's degree from UCLA, his master's degree from UC Berkeley and his law degree from Loyola Law School.
